Bandung Spirit mengadakan The First Asia-Africa International Festival dalam rangka memperingati 55 tahun Konferensi Asia-Afrika tahun 1955 di Bandung. Pemutaran film diadakan di beberapa tempat di Yogyakarta, Jakarta, dan Bandung. Rumah Buku/Kineruku menjadi salah satu tempat pemutaran film-film pendek Indonesia sesi kompetisi, dengan jadwal sebagai berikut:
